Housed and displayed in a luxury Presentation Case, the magnificent NEW Remembrance Day £5 Coin Collection includes no less than three 2024-dated Proof-like coins, each beautifully accented in either Pure Silver or 24-Carat Gold. The reverse, by leading artist Sandra Deiana who has worked for The Royal Mint, depicts the Poppy which is accented in full colour on one of the silver-plated coins. The vibrant red flower flourished on the battlefields of World War I which started 110 years ago this year, and is today synonymous with our Remembrance Day commemorations, as is the phrase ‘LEST WE FORGET,’ which also appears on the design. On the obverses meanwhile, is an official portrait of King Charles III whose great grandfather George V first honoured the nation’s war dead more than a century ago.
