The NEW 125th Anniversary of the Queen Mother £5 Coin Collection

Accented in precious metals to commemorate Her Majesty

  • Officially approved by Buckingham Palace
  • Inspired by famous Cecil Beaton portrait
  • Worldwide mintage of JUST 2,025 sets

A NEW £5 coin collection has been released to mark 125 years since the Queen Mother’s birth on the 4th August 1900. Exclusive to The Jubilee Mint, this limited edition set has been officially approved by Buckingham Palace and features three £5 coins, each struck to a high Proof-like finish and meticulously plated in either Pure Silver, 24-Carat Gold or magnificent Rose Gold. Depicted on the reverses is a striking portrait of the famous consort by leading artist Sandra Deiana, inspired by a popular Cecil Beaton portrait of the Queen Mother, taken in 1950 to mark her 50th birthday. On the obverses is an official portrait of Charles III by leading British engraver Jody Clark. As Her Majesty was one of the most popular and admired members of our Royal Family, who lived to the extraordinary age of 101, this sought-after tribute is likely to be in high demand. Availability is strictly limited due to a low 2,025-set mintage so a swift response is strongly advised. Arrives in a luxury Presentation Case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
