The NEW 150th Anniversary of Winston Churchill £5 Coin Collection
Limited edition set expertly plated in the world’s most precious metals
Issued to honour the 150th anniversary of one of Britain’s greatest ever leaders, this limited edition collection consists of three £5 coins, each struck to a high Proof-like finish and richly plated in either Pure Silver, 24-Carat Gold, or Rose Gold. In tribute to Winston Churchill who was born in Oxfordshire in 1874, on the reverses is a specially commissioned design by artist Sandra Deiana who has worked for The Royal Mint. Presented is a powerful depiction of the World War II Prime Minister, capturing his resolute demeanour and distinguished presence whilst dressed in his signature bowler hat, bow tie and overcoat. Meanwhile, an official portrait of Charles III appears on all three obverses. This effigy is the work of leading engraver Jody Clark, the youngest of five designers to create the UK’s official definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II during her incredible reign. Officially approved by Buckingham Palace, the Winston Churchill £5 Coin Collection is a fitting and lasting tribute to the famous statesman, who played a key role restoring peace in Europe, and has a strict worldwide mintage of just 2,024 sets. Only a limited number is available to own at The Jubilee Mint, each housed within a luxury Presentation Case and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
