Officially approved by Buckingham Palace, each has been expertly struck to a high Proof-like finish and plated in either Pure Silver or 24-Carat Gold, plus features a NEW specially commissioned reverse quoting from one of the most well-known war elegies of all time – ‘For the Fallen’ by Laurence Binyon. This fitting line is surrounded by beautiful blooming poppies, an enduring symbol of peace and hope which flourished on the battlefields of WWI, accented in a vibrant red on one coin. The obverses, designed by leading engraver Jody Clark, display an official portrait of King Charles III, who traditionally leads our national service of Remembrance every year.
