Known for his work on several important commissions for The Royal Mint, Bergdahl has depicted England’s Patron Saint in full armour, wearing a feather-topped helmet and wielding a sword as he slays the menacing dragon. Adding to demand, this ONE-YEAR-ONLY adaptation of the powerful image has been struck in Solid 9-Carat Gold to an Enhanced Reverse Proof finish, a specialist striking technique that features selected parts of the design in a polished, mirror-like shine set against a full frosted background. Also featured is an official effigy of King Charles III by Jody Clark on the obverse, which has also been accented with this unique finish.
