The UK’s NEW St George and the Dragon 1oz Silver Coin, featuring a never-before-seen design, can now be secured at The Jubilee Mint as part of a strict 2,024-piece mintage. This official UK silver coin, which has been expertly struck in One Full Ounce of 999/1000 Fine Silver by The Royal Mint, features a magnificent NEW design of the centuries-old legend that has appeared on British coins for hundreds of years. It depicts the patron saint of England, traditionally commemorated on the 23rd April (thought to be the day of his death) on horseback about to slay, with his lance, the fearsome dragon who lies at his mercy on the ground. The specially commissioned design is the work of leading engraver Jody Clark who is most famous for designing the UK’s fifth and final official definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, our longest-serving monarch of all time. On the obverse meanwhile is the UK’s first ever portrait of Charles III who is facing left, the opposite direction to his mother. By renowned sculptor Martin Jennings, this magnificent effigy has been personally approved by the King. Comes complete with a luxury Presentation Case and a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its low edition limit.
