Following its official approval at Buckingham Palace, this coveted 65.00mm coin has been expertly crafted in a Full Five Ounces of 999/1000 Fine Silver to honour all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The ONE-YEAR-ONLY design features an inscription of a famous line from Laurence Binyon’s poem ‘For the Fallen’, reading ‘At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.’ To complement these fitting words, the rare addition of selective colour appears on a display of red poppies, acting as a traditional symbol of both remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Meanwhile the obverse includes an official portrait of King Charles III by celebrated engraver Jody Clark.
