The UK’s Coronation of King Charles III Silver 1oz Coin

Issued in celebration of Britain’s first Coronation in seven decades

  • Struck in one ounce of 999/1000 Fine Silver
  • Only 2,023 available at The Jubilee Mint
  • Features the FIRST crowned Charles III effigy

Saturday 6th May marked Britain’s first Coronation since a young Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953. As a fitting tribute to this historic royal occasion, the UK’s Coronation of King Charles III Silver 1oz Coin has been struck in one full ounce of 999/1000 Fine Silver and features a specially commissioned design. Created by famous designer John Bergdahl, the reverse includes our new monarch’s official cypher in the centre surrounded by a laurel wreath. Approved by Charles III himself, the obverse meanwhile depicts the FIRST EVER official crowned coinage portrait of our Head of State, by prolific sculptor Martin Jennings. This superb likeness depicts our King wearing the exquisite Tudor Crown. As the UK and Commonwealth continue to celebrate our first Coronation in seven decades, demand for tributes commemorating this momentous royal occasion remain extremely high. The Jubilee Mint has secured a maximum of just 2,023 official silver 1oz coins, so a fast response is required. Housed in a luxury Presentation Case with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The limited edition presentation relates only to the coin as presented in our packaging.
