It includes the final coinage portrait of Victoria’s entire reign which was issued in 1893 and nicknamed the ‘Old’ or 'Veiled Head’ as it depicted our second longest-reigning monarch in the mourning veil she habitually wore following the sudden death of her husband Prince Albert. Italian engraver Benedetto Pistrucci's magnificent depiction of St George and the Dragon features on the reverse.
