A chance to secure the United Kingdom’s first ever Memorial Sovereign, issued as a final tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and featuring the official definitive coinage portrait of Charles III who inherited the throne on the 8th September 2022. Struck in Solid 22-Carat Gold by The Royal Mint, this official Sovereign features a unique ONE-YEAR-ONLY in place of Pistrucci’s traditional portrayal of St George and the Dragon. Inspired by the Royal Coat of Arms, the reverse is the work of leading engraver, Jody Clark. Meanwhile, appearing on the UK’s flagship gold coin for the first time ever, and further fuelling demand for this historic release, is the coveted debut coinage portrait of the Queen’s oldest son and successor, Charles III. Designed by sculptor, Martin Jennings, this magnificent left-facing effigy has been personally approved by the King himself. Increased collector demand is fully expected for this important issue which is housed in a deluxe Presentation Case and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
