The 70th Anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation Silver-Plated Coin Cover

Includes world's first coin marking 70 years since Her Majesty's crowning

  • Features official Royal Mail stamps
  • Only 1,500 covers worldwide
  • Housed in Presentation Folder

To mark the anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation comes this limited edition coin and stamp cover. At its centrepiece is a limited edition 38.00mm coin, the first ever issued to mark seventy years since the monarch’s official crowning in Westminster Abbey in 1953. Expertly accented in 999/1000 Fine Silver and struck to a Proof-like finish, it features a specially commissioned design inspired by Her Majesty’s official cypher and the four floral emblems of the United Kingdom. The silver-plated coin is also one of only a handful to be dated 2023 and feature an official portrait of the late sovereign. Also included are two officially-postmarked Royal Mail stamps released in 2003 to celebrate fifty years since the Queen’s Coronation while the tribute is enhanced further by a replica of a specially commissioned hand-painting by leading artist, Diane Fawcett. With just 1,500 covers worldwide, availability at The Jubilee Mint is limited. Includes a deluxe Presentation Folder and a Certificate of Authenticity.
