Original 1951 crown remains incredibly sought-after as only the second crown ever struck during King George VI’s entire 16-year reign (the first was for his Coronation in 1937) – and the only crown of his reign to be issued in cupronickel. Also known as the Festival of Britain crown, it features Benedetto Pistrucci’s image of St George slaying the dragon on the reverse and a portrait of George VI, the Queen’s father and the last George on the throne, on the obverse. Displayed in a luxury Presentation Case with Certificate of Authenticity. Just 1951 available from The Jubilee Mint.
