The UK’s NEW Britannia 1oz Fine Silver Coin is now available to own in a strict 2,026-piece mintage at The Jubilee Mint on a first-come first-served basis only. Expertly struck in One Full Ounce of 999/1000 Fine Silver and with a 38.61mm diameter, this official Royal Mint issue depicts the guardian of our nation, holding her signature trident in one hand plus a shield and an olive branch, representing peace, in the other. Artist Philip Nathan’s iconic design has become synonymous with the annual coin release since its first ever appearance in 1997 and is complemented by a series of state-of-the-art security features to combat counterfeiting. These include surface background lines and Latin micro text. Meanwhile on the obverse is the UK’s first official definitive coinage portrait of Charles III. This remarkable effigy of His Majesty, who inherited the throne from Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, is by renowned sculptor Martin Jennings and was approved by the monarch himself.
