This limited edition issue has been released to commemorate the world-famous vessel which was finally located 12,500 feet underwater on the 1st September 1985 by Dr Robert Ballard and Jean-Louis Michel. Struck in Five Full Ounces of 999/1000 Fine Silver to a pristine Proof finish, the NEW coin boasts an impressive 65.00mm diameter and has been officially approved by Buckingham Palace. Featured upon the reverse is a unique design by celebrated artist Sandra Deiana, showcasing a detailed illustration of the iconic ship amongst crashing waves. At the time of launch this was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner ever built, carrying more than 2,200 crew and passengers. Included on the obverse is an official portrait of Charles III by renowned engraver Jody Clark.
