To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Elizabeth II on the 21st April, an official NEW £5 Coin Collection has been released exclusively by The Jubilee Mint. Officially approved by Buckingham Palace, this limited edition set comprises three Proof-like £5 coins which have been richly plated in Pure Silver, 24-Carat Gold or Rose Gold. This NEW issue features two superb portraits by renowned artist and engraver Jody Clark, best-known for designing the UK’s final official coinage portrait of the late Queen. Each reverse boasts a NEVER-BFORE-SEEN design, depicting a royal effigy of Elizabeth II at the beginning of her reign. Her Majesty is shown facing left, and wears a wreath featuring the four floral UK emblems, while her official cypher is shown beside her. The obverses include an official effigy of our late sovereign’s son, King Charles III, also by Clark.
