The perfect tribute to our longest-serving monarch, the Queen Elizabeth II Collection consists of seven official British crowns spanning the very first of Her Majesty’s reign, the 1953 ‘Coronation’ Crown featuring the famous equestrian portrait, to the 1981 ‘Royal Wedding’ Crown, the last ever to bear a 25p denomination. Also included in this selection are Royal Mint coins marking the death of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965, the Queen and Prince Philip’s 1972 Silver Wedding Anniversary, the 1977 ‘Silver Jubilee’ and the 80th Birthday of the Queen Mother. Due to difficulty sourcing each individual issue and the consistently high demand for commemoratives from the Sovereign’s extraordinary reign, particularly in the light of her passing, there are just 499 Queen Elizabeth II Crown Collections available at The Jubilee Mint.
